how scoring works
Unique answer scores 10. If anyone else wrote the same thing, you both get 5. Blank scores nothing.
Answers must start with the round letter. Leading "the" and "a" are ignored, soThe Antelope counts for A, and accents are folded, soCreme and Crème collide.
If your answer gets rejected you can protest it. Everyone else votes. It needs more than two thirds to stand, and abstentions do not count against you. A word that survives a protest is added to the community dictionary, kept separate from any official word list, and is recognised in later games.
The host sets round length. Whoever finishes first starts a short countdown for everyone else; whatever is written when it ends still counts.
